Welcome to Sanz Plans!

Is This Site For Me?

This site is for people who know that they need to

or want to make changes to be healthier, happier,

and more fulfilled.

It’s for people who want to lose weight, gain weight,

or stop eating disordered behavior.

It’s for people who want to stop walking around

day after day criticizing themselves and not feeling

“good enough.”

It is a site for people who know they could be

better friends, partners, lovers, husbands and wives,

or parents but for some reason aren’t right now.

It’s for people who want to feel better about

themselves so they can get out and live their lives,

and contribute what they know is inside them to

make this world a better place to be.

It’s for people who wonder “what’s it all about?”

and “why are we here anyway?” and who wonder

if anybody even cares.

Making Change That Lasts Is Hard

If you have ever had a bad habit you wanted to

change, and you’ve gone about trying to change

it fifty ways from Sunday with no long-lasting results,

this site can help you finally be successful.

If you have been hurt, abused, traumatized, and

wonder if you will ever be able to feel whole and

okay again, this site can help you on your way to

If you are on divorce #3 and are beginning to realize

that it might not just be the people you are marrying

(although it might be!) but something you are doing

wrong, this site can help you figure out what that is

and do it differently.

Breaking It All Down

Most importantly, I know that there isn’t just one thing

that you want to try to change or improve..

it’s most likely a lot of things.

So the single most special thing this site can do

for you is to help you not get overwhelmed by this.

I can help you break it all down into “doable doses.”

I can help you take the baby steps that eventually get

you where you wanted to be, building up your

motivation and confidence one step at a time.

I’m glad you’re here and I hope you’ll check in again!

I learned of blog and clinical psychology practice through your responses on Quora. In particular, I found your perspective on forgiveness to be valuable and compelling. New Harbinger is a leading publisher of texts and workbooks on evidence-based mental health. I would like to explore the possiblity of you writing a workbook that supports the reader in healing from past wounds by guiding him or her through the steps of forgiveness.

    Dear Ms. Sands,
Could we work together? I have BC/BS health insurance as a secondary to Medicare and would like/need assistance. Here is what I would like to change in myself through therapy: become more loving, more grateful, less agitated, more forgiving (of myself). Though I experience overriding anxiety, it lacks a discernable source or stressor. I’m no therapist but I think my issues are cognitive. I’m about to turn 75 and want to do a kind of life review. If you accept insurance, and this interests you, please contact me. I will be incommunicado, however, until after June 5.
    Thanks Lea (lee) Macquarrie
