About Me

anita pic 1

I have been a clinical psychologist for over 20 years

and I help people make positive changes,

in all areas of their life, without getting overwhelmed.

I help people learn how to think more positively,

handle life stress better, and enjoy life more.

I help people learn how to connect better with

their partners, resolve conflicts and fight with

each other without causing major damage, and

be more in love for a lifetime.

I help people grow their own self-esteem,

lay their own foundation of goodwill, and

learn to treat themselves as if they matter.

I help people get in touch with what is their

own unique place in the Universe,

use healthy spiritual practices to help them

get through the traumas and tragedies of life,

and encourage them to know once and for all

that they are good and decent people at heart.

If you would like to learn more about any of

these things, you’re in the right place!

I want to impart this message:

that life is a manageable if messy enterprise,

that problems can be dealt with,

traumas can be healed,

and you can continue to grow and learn forever.

I would  love to connect with you on the

Sanzplans facebook page.

I post daily mental health tidbits and the latest

research findings in the field of mental health.

Or you can follow sanzplans on

twitter @sanzplans.

I’m so happy you found your way here…

and I hope you will check in frequently.

And if you like what you see,

please recommend this site to others!

It’s hard to find knowledgeable people on this topic, but you sound like you know what you’re talking about! Thanks

  • H 78:

Can I simply say what a relief to search out someone who really is aware of what theyre speaking about on the internet. You undoubtedly know methods to deliver a difficulty to mild and make it important. More individuals must learn this and perceive this side of the story. I cant imagine youre no more widespread because you positively have the gift.

  • I feel like you could probably teach a class on how to make a great blog. This is fantastic! I have to say, what really got me was your design. You certainly know how to make your blog more than just a rant about an issue. Youve made it possible for people to connect. Good for you, because not that many people know what theyre doing.

  • I have read several good things here. Definitely worth bookmarking for revisiting. I wonder how much effort you put to create such a magnificent informative web site.

  • Lauri S.:

You’ve helped me so much; it’s great that you’ll be able to reach so many other people this way.

  • It is rare to get a professional person in whom you can have some faith. In the world of today, nobody absolutely cares about showing others the answer in this matter. How happy I am to have definitely found a real wonderful blog as this. It truly is people like you exactly who make a genuine difference these days through the concepts they share.

  • Mike:

This site looks like it may be my oasis in a desert of dispair. Bipolar disorder and substance abuse has caused me to loose everything I worked nine years to achieve. I’m 600 miles from my wife, starting my life over. We want to get back together if I can work hard and stay clean. I’m in recovery, but I can’t afford a therapist. I will look on your site every day for support and encouragement. If I start from week one today, will your site still be up one year from now?

    • admin:

Mike…so glad you found this site! The plan right now is to condense all the weekly posts into a pdf e-book that I would make available for a very reasonable price…for download. I have not yet talked with my website developer about how we’ll do this, so it may not happen by January 2012, which was the original idea. What I would tell you is to start at Week One, and no matter where you are in the program, if I do decide to pull the content off of my site and offer it as an e-book, I will make sure it is easy to do and you will not miss a week in A Year to Change. Congratulations on your decision to work hard and stay clean. Regardless of what happens with your relationship, you and the quality of your life are worth all the hard work you are putting in! I hope this site will help you, and I also encourage you to check out some of the links I have to other great sites for support. My best, Anita
